Magnolia Market at the Silos
If you want to know how much I love HGTV's Fixer Upper, just ask my husband. I watch the show and read the blog so regularly, it sometimes feels as though Chip and Jojo are my actual personal friends. I just can't get enough of their style (and Chip's humor!).
I am also a huge, huge fan of The Magnolia Journal. It's rare to find such a beautiful, thoughtfully curated print publication these days, but like everything they do, the Gaines' have knocked it out of the park.
Needless to say, when I found myself living in Austin for six weeks this summer, I had to take advantage of the close proximity to Waco and go see the Magnolia Market at the Silos in person. My mom and I decided to take a road trip up I-35 on a Friday morning, and I'm so glad we did!
At over 100 degrees, it was a bit, um... warm. That said, thanks to a shaded food court area and umbrellas provided, we survived. Oh, and awesome snow cones helped too.
Everything was perfectly curated. I have to say my favorite touches were outside, with succulents, flowers and greenery abound. #backyardgoals
If you ever find yourself in Texas within reasonable driving distance to good ol' Waco, do yourself a favor and make the trip to the Silos. Just remember, try to pick a cool(er) time of year. :)
